Limited Edition Giclees on Canvas
Giclee is a French term meaning “to spray”. The process is a digital form
of
fine art reproduction. Giclees are created by photograping or scanning an original painting. The digital information is sent to an ink jet printer where microscopic drops of pigment based inks designed for light fast durability are sprayed onto archival quality (neutral pH) canvas. The inks are sprayed onto the canvas one line at a time until the image is complete. This process results in a
high resollution that is crisp, colorful and substantially more permanent than
other forms of printing.
